So my Truck was driving fine and shifting smoothly. I parked in the garage after a drive and when i got in the truck the following morning to take her out I couldn't get her into reverse to back her out of the garage. I also can't get her into any of the other gears unless I use both my hands and use all my force while my foot on the clutch all the way to the floor to engage the gears. How can I fix this before it gets worse? Thx

Check you clutch master cylinder to makes sure its not low on fluid. Could be bad clutch master cylinder or clutch.

Could be the slave cylinder too. Do all the gears shift fine with the truck off?

Yeah they shift fine but it seems 3-5 gears are not going into place. Mannn this morning it was hard putting it in reverse and taking it out of reverse, I was stuck in the middle of the neighborhood street for 8min trying to put it in neutral.

If the master has failed via an internal bypass, the fluid level will be fine with no clutch response.

Currently taking off decals. New wiper blades and vent visors
My 03 started having trouble going into 4th every once in a while. I changed the shifter bushing and the little ball that is on the bottom of the stick. It was like 25 bucks from the dealer for both pieces. Very easy to do. Just search shifter bushing replacement on google for your vehicle. Maybe your ball broke and it wont engage any gear? Either way its fairly easy to check at least. Good luck and keep us posted.

Mine was popping out of gear and not going in all the way to 4th. It was the shifter bushings. Id get that done first as its probably your cheapest option.

Careful yanking on the shifter. Don't want to damage the shift forks or better yet - shear a bolt off in there. Ask me about that last part ;) Can you pull up on the shifter and notice any play? I second the slave and master cylinder replacement. It's relatively inexpensive to replace them if you do it yourself. How many miles on the clutch? do you know? Could be a host of things.

Any tips on the master/slave replacement? Having the same issue and probably doing the same thing this weekend.

Yes. Have the proper 10mm flare nut wrench. You strip those brake line fittings and it will ruin your day. Make sure to get all air out of lines. Pretty straight forward easy repair

Cool thanks. I'll go get a flare nut wrench before I start.

Don't know if you have already done this but a tip for bleeding the clutch:

Get a 1 foot piece of Vacuum line that can fit over the end of an oiler can that you can pick up at any auto parts store. kinda like this one but maybe bigger: https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/toughone-engine-1-4-pint-pump-oiler-w241/7070012-P

Add a little bit of brake fluid to the master (only enough to fill the reservoir 1/8 of the way) leave the top off.

Take the oiler and fill it up with brake fluid. Open the slave cylinder under the truck, open the nipple and stick the vacuum line on it. Start pumping till you fill the reservoir 3/4 the way up (you can kinda guess how much you added) then close the nipple and pump the pedal. If done correctly your pedal should feel perfect since you just bled the clutch system from the bottom and just need to finish adding a little bit of fluid to the master.
