    Hello there everyone,
Ive long been a Toyota guy (ok, at least since I got my license a few years ago, and there was that 1 year I drove a Jeep). I originally started off with an 87 yota pickup that I bought and drove basically through high school and some time after that. Bought my 2001 Tacoma TRD V6 5spd 4x4 off of my brother earlier this year. Being from Michigan where our fine road crews liberally use salt on our roads all winter long it is not the prettiest, but its not falling apart either.

Became a member here since this forum provided me access to 2 discounts I used right away with Downsouth Motorsports and Toytec. DSM were great guys to work with, always quick and thorough responses from them regarding my questions.

Look forward to seeing what this forum has to offer. Shout out to all the Tacoma Owners in Metro Detroit!(I know there are probably close to none)

Welcome to TW, I grew up in SE MI.

I was back in Detroit in 09 and I think my truck was the only Taco within 100 miles.
