Nova Scotia trip

I know NS isn't in Ontario but it is way closer than BC which is my other option

The wife and I are doing a 2 week trip to NS and PEI over the summer. We have a well equipped truck with an AT Overland Atlas top on it. What are the camping options up there. Is it all paid camping or is there some free boondocking available. Also are there any must see places. We will have our dog with us so something wont be able to happen. Thanks in advance

 

I mean... You can pay to stay or you can camp for free. Depends what you're looking to do.

 

Prefer the free options

 

This ontario group is great with knowledge and busy traffic...

however, these cats are local and can give far more local insight...and good peeps as well
