    Hmm mine is on the heavy side, 180 pounds. I’d love to get a wedge if I did get a canopy. Think it would distribute the weight better

    I feel ya there. I mainly jumped on it on launch pricing plus selling a bunch of random parts should not be too bad. I built out a sleeping platform in the bed so have been rocking that for wheeling trips but its cramped with the wife and kid.

    Yeah we are planning on keeping the roof top tent for a bit until we save up for a tear drop. Looking for a canopy for some dry space

    Not the hardest part but a pain none the less. Now I need to figure out all of the wiring that should be done before I put it all back together Noico 80mm and will be adding a layer of Noico red 150mm foam

    Haven’t updated in awhile but lots of fun to be had. Waiting for ECGS replacement to arrive. A new rear ended will be in my future at some point

    ratiotek valve body installed. put this one off as I had not messed with the transmission before but took my time and was easier than I thought. Not a basic install but not bad if your mechanically inclined.

    transmission also got a much needed drain and fill. I plan to drain and fill again in 5k.

    same setup for now. ECGS warrantied it. Trucks back on all for just have not posted anything. But strong assumption its going to happen again so will likely need to look at beefier axle at some point.

    oh man, that would be horrible. Right now I'm just breaking in the gears so should be ok. It will come down to the wire.

    Lots of work going on but not a ton of trips yet. Just when I thought the rear end was the bad luck of the year we have had a few more. Before I get to the cool stuff.

    On our way up to Portland right outside of Medford I felt something loose. Good thing as 4 studs had sheered off and one lug nut was holding us up. Luckily we were 30 miles from @MikeS custom toys who had us back on the road in under 2 hours. Still can’t thank him enough for the help.

    They come in 3 they say and if 2 issues wasn’t enough after someone posted about cab mount relocations I checked mine and go figure frames cracked all around it. This is not a failure of the mount but the frame itself. It may have been due to the install, it’s hard to day but none the less another issue to tackle ( getting fixed next week so we’ll be hopefully back in the road soon.

    The trip up to Portland wasn’t cut short and we made it. It was quick as we were picking up our new Super Pacific X1. Love this setup so far and the guys at SP were awesome to work with. They took a sat to install mine and 2 buddies. @frenchee 1st, 2nd me and @blackmist27 3rd gen so that was cool to see all 3.

    Lucked out and @Gruber1922 came down and picked up the old shell and rack. It was short lived but had not seen the truck with no shell almost since I bought it. Looks great on its new home.

    @frenchee 1st gen looking great.

    install was smooth and dialed in. Looks awesome on the truck and for and finish is solid.

    @blackmist27 3rd gen Pro. Red really pops on this setup.

    First order was getting some light on the shell. gtfooverland has a kit made for the X1 so was quick and easy to get setup.
