Rob what are you going to do with your old silver interior parts?

Good luck on installing your SS Brake Lines. I had some trouble with my fittings but was able to get it installed. I didn't know the calipers from a 2010+ 4runner would fit. Let me know what difference it made on your brakes.

Put them up for sale. You need silver trim? Sounds wrong but will have available.

What was the issue on the lines? Should be straight forward. Also the brake should fit, it's a test fit for low range so if they don't I'll send it back. In Theory it should all bolt up. They didn't have a Tacoma to test it on. I have seen 03-09 kits but not 10+ kits.

We were having issues with the flares on the hard brake lines and not necessarily any issues with the SS brake lines. We think the flare nuts were pretty damn tight. We think it was over tightened at the factory IMO because I've never had the brakes serviced before.

How much for the silver pieces?

Installed 2/3 of the black interior parts. Looking clean with the Chinese knobs. Need to change up the shifter.

Decided to make the switch to Mobile 1 Synthetic today. Costco special with a deal right now. $36.99 for 6 quarts with an additional $10 off. Can't complain there.

Also installed Fumoto drain plug to make future oil changes a breeze.

I didn't get a chance to check the parts before they shipped. Our shipping department is quick. Someone told me that your parts were here and I went to check and they already went out the door. In some cases same day shipping is a bad thing. haha Looks like the Rotors are much Bigger than the Tacoma Rotors?

All good they are getting it taken care of. Rotors do appear much bigger. Dimensions obviously are but visually as well. Calipers are much larger as well.

Trying to lock down a weekend I can install these. Hoping no issues arise as it is a test fit. Major concerns are the 4 runner backing plates and size of the caliper. Caliper should clear 17" wheels and backing plate was noted that it should fit.

Still having issues with getting the HVAC panel to light up. The issue is isolate to the HVAC panel and does not have enough power to power the Helux switch.

I had to return my last switch as it would not light up. I tested the new one which I got from @nazlax10 and no issues there. Waiting on a few items to arrive and will try rewiring again. Need to be careful, do not want to run out of wiring in there.

I did install the Helux switch temporarily. If you do not want to epoxy the switch you can wrap a few layers of electrical tape and wedge the switch in. I only had it pop out once and that was with some heavy off road use. Made a few changes (ie added some more tape) and its been golden. I am debating on derping or painting the ring black.

Right now the hint of metal flows well with the radio, HVAC knobs and the center shifter panel. The all black takes some getting used to but I am diggin it so far. Just need to swap out the shifter knob. Thinking the ATJ Designs shifter or one the newer TRD leather knobs.

Just got back from our trip to Joshua Tree for 2nd Annual Chili Cookoff Offroad and Shooting Weekend. It was an epic weekend from NorCal to SoCal. Headed out early friday morning with @kingk0ng and some folks racing to meet up with @goblue82 and company for the back route into our home for the weekend. Still need to get into the GoPro footage but a couple of us made use of our DSLRs to capture some desert magic.

Agreed, I felt one more good day of exploring would have been perfect. Missed out on a few cool spots it seems why we were blasting the hill.

Thanks! Indeed, as of now I will plan on it. Maybe we will have double movie theaters and more. Great job setting it up. Next time I need to drag my ass over to your camp and chat it up with you guys.
