my packs came with a + symbol on one pack and a - symbol on the other pack and I though it was for taco lean. I could be wrong though. I think I saw a thread where OZ-T said that.

If you guys get it going I will be there with my springs. I don't assume we will even really get started, I just want some assessment, plus I might spend some time cutting them up.

I also should say that I have the flare nut wrenches you will need to use. If we can't meet up, buy yourself a set. I would NOT attempt this without them, you will round off the soft metal of the brake lines.

It really doesn't take that long at all. I have to work my AF reserve weekend this weekend but I might be able to come by afterwords.

You shouldn't even need to cut anything unless the center pin won't come out or you need to fine tune the outcome of the pack.

He is doing the Tacoma Spring Refurbishing. I, and a bunch of other members, have done it. Its an easy want to manipulate your springs how you want them with good lasting results (Rather than buying a add-a-leaf or full pack):

I was talking about cutting down the springs to the right length.

There's some parts I need, but I won't be able to figure out exactly what is needed until the process starts.
-I know that I can get the shackle at 4 Wheel Parts (ugh), but only once I figure out the correct length. I can re-use my stock shackle in the meantime
-I can get the center pin from Autozone/ORielly, but not sure what length. Same deal with u-bolts
-I think I can get leaf spring clamps from 4 Wheel Parts, but I'm not sure

Looks like I need to read through the whole thread again so I have some idea of what's going on.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
You can cut down a center pin and u-bolts. Mike has everything at his house to do that, and we had to cut down some center pins when we did Andrew's a few months ago.

Rite Way Spring in Tacoma may be a source for parts. On another note-Mike, do you work at one of the distribution centers up Hogum Bay Rd? I swear I see your truck go by in the morning. I work at Tru Truss Inc.

I get what your saying but I didn't have to cut mine down at all. It totally depends on the length of the springs your installing or the exact result you want.

The only thing that I had to cut were the center pins and the OEM leaf stays, to get them apart.
