Does the metal shop guy over behind the Mexican restaurant a couple blocks from your house have one? Or the auto shop on the corner by our favorite bar?

The tawnys' (went to school with their daughters) welding shop probably doesn't have one. My buddy's step dad who happens to work at the model garage is my next step. He's worked there since he was 18 (he's gotta be 50). I pick his brain from time to time about dtc's and what not. Very knowledgeable across the automotive board and small engine area. He's a snowmobile-aholic and does all his own work.

He just did a leveling kit for my soon to be brother n law on his Chevy 1500, so I know he has a spring compressor in his shop at home.

@bobsuruncle Just know that if you bring your coil overs in it should be a 20 minute job tops.

When I did mine I had never seen a wall mounted compressor and it took me 10 minutes to do both of my coil overs. Don't get ripped off.

My rack is at the powder coating place... Should be done early next week.

The guy is a highly skilled welder and $60/hr. Located right down the road from Monroe High School.

Here's his number... (425) 610-0803 name is Nate. Clean dude in his 30s, not a tweaker. I had a great time hanging out shooting the shit with him while he worked.

That's unfortunately not how auto work pays out. Everything is by the hour and they use their book to price it all out.

So you are looking for a mount for something like the Blue Sea fuse block, but to put someplace other than in the engine bay? That sounds like a custom project to me. If you are putting it in the cab, you could probably get by with some plywood.

Yes! Like a blue sea or bussman mount in the engine bay, just aft of the fuse box. I've seen nice powder coated, pre cut ones, just can't find them now!

Obviously. However, if a shop quotes 2 hours labor for a job an idiot can do it 10 minutes, that's a pretty good sign you should take your stuff elsewhere.
