What a jerk off. I'm glad there are forums like this so people can share their shitty experiences with companies so nobody else has to go through that bs.

Only bad one I had with him was when he was going through a rough patch and his other fab guy quit unexpectedly, other than that hes good just long wait times.

Oh Hai! not much, just working... driving along in my semi truck. gonna be home tomorrow to work on my truck a bit, i have a few parts, a few things i suppose i could get done. but waiting for parts and ordering parts, and waiting to build up the shopping cart so there's enough in there so i can get free shipping... etc. shopping is hard. Semi truck is going in for maintenance, and so what better time to take advantage of this time to tear apart some panels in the tacoma, and learn how things go together/come apart/how much room etc...

Would a face to face confrontation help? i am a semi truck driver and do get around the 'western 11' maybe if i showed up in his shop and started yelling, would that help?

Relentless Fabrication? i'm getting some roof mounting brackets made for me for the Rigid RDS 50" and yea, he does seem to be taking his time... i brought the lightbar down to him, he's had it a month now already. but in his defense, he was super busy. and he has to call a buddy with a Double cab to fit the lightbar... so i dunno.

Other than when he was virtually unknown (and I could get him to work on stuff for me in one of our driveways :spy:), Relentless has always been busy. His response times fluctuate. For his sake, I really hope he hires a receptionist or something. Forum-goers will seriously bug you every day for a status report

In other news, I want to thank @northwesttaco for the Rebel Offroad recommendation - I even did a writeup on my experience

Im planning on calling them tomorrow for the same mounts! Did they have to custom make yours or is it just the new style of mounts that King uses? Glad you had a good experience with them! They were excellent when I was shopping for mine

It looks the same as the last set, just that they did the weld at the correct angle. More than anything, I think it was a quality control thing or some new guy, and they just said "new design" as a CYA.
I still have the old mounts and they are free for anyone who needs them, but you'd need a really good welder. They are TIG welded and zinc plated, so there's some nasty chemicals to watch for if you don't have some pro setup.

Ohh okay. I'm going to hold up my frame brackets tomorrow and see what I'll have to do to make them fit over the resi mounts.. Still not sure

What I meant by this, is that the welder would have to break the weld, reposition, and re-weld. Just making sure I'm clear.

I'm down for a trail run, camping, probably not. Where does the trail start? I finally have a weekend off and want to take my truck for a group meet/run.

The important part is, you had fun while breaking your truck right? Thats all that counts.

Welcome! I've been around here for a while just not very active. I'd like to change this, so please add me as well!

What are the odds we can put together a Tahuya trip (or somewhere else that is easy) in the next couple of months? Always wanted to go out there, just seems like I'm never around when people head out there. My off-road experience is basically forest service roads :(
