Nice! Thanks OP! 48$ per ball is 80$ in savings!

So I don't see Teflon coated? Is that really a necessary thing? These say self lubricating as well. So no more need to lube them?
    Please educate

Edit: or is it just the ring that is Teflon?

Thanks for this and the catalog, Bob.

Looks like the non stainless COMH-16T from the icons is a larger OD and slightly smaller thickness than the stainless WSSX-16T from the other manufacturers. That explains why the guy at wheelers told me the stainless ones wouldn't work in my icon arms.

Anyone know if the uniballs in the icon service kit are stainless?

back in April, we took both rigs into the backcountry of the San Rafael Desert, Glen Canyon National Recreation Area and Canyonlands (the Maze) for 5 days and 4 nights of adventure.

    some highlights include:

    Lower San Rafael Rd
    Chaffin Ranch/Crystal Geyser
    High Spur slots
Horseshoe Canyon and the Great Gallery via Deadman's Trail
    Flint Trail
journey into the Land of Standing Rocks
    Standing Rock exploration
Pictograph Fork via Chimney Rock loop
    exit south to Hite

    Camps:

    High Spur
    Sunset Pass
    Standing Rock
BLM Land outside of the NRA

Enjoy! (do yourself a favor and watch in HD!)

we have our reasons for being back here but they're being out weighed by our desire to be back in CO....we'll see how long it lasts.

Cool slideshow, easy way to go through a shit ton of pics.

What was the most difficult section of trail on that trip?

    for us? nothing really....

flint trail (4:45) going down really isn't bad...just like shafer switchbacks...not a lot of room to pass, but if you scout prior to dropping down for vehicles, you'll be fine...check the NPS for any issues like rock fall

heading to the maze, the ledge prior to and the turn at 5:35 can be a little tricky as it's an off-camber tight turn that might need a 3-point

then the ledge section at 5:48 is what most people talk about as the "hard part".

section around 9:17 was also on that traverse from the maze district...that was fun..again nothing really hard...then the video goes into the ledge section (the "hard part") going the other way...

not sure if you were planning to take poison spring canyon out at all....but if you do, don't forget the turn at 38.074661, -110.212682

we went over sunset pass and planned to take poison spring out, but we missed the turn and continued down hatch canyon...the trail on hatch canyon appears to connect to poison spring, but it wasn't travelled well and disappeared. being 11pm we decided to turn around and head back via hite...the mistake was almost costly as we rolled into hanksville on fumes..and we had 23 extra gallons between the two trucks for that trip...

but if you have gas and light, hatch canyon would be a fun route to poison spring...it was the most challenging trail in that area due to the ruggedness...boulders to go over/pivot on, washed out river beds, tight overgrown sections...

next time we go, i'll definitely be going in or out via poison spring...and probably finish up hatch canyon

unless kayla's job (whenever she gets one) doesn't allow her to take off the week, we'll be heading out with my truck the weekend before...

i'm thinking about getting a small group together to run Hole in the Rock before RT this year...
