KDMax-Pro

- More usable and noticeable low end torque
- Octane learning from 85-95 octane--no more Regular and Premium versions.
- Improved/smoother shifting.
- Works with CAI's, Custom Exhausts, and Dumptubes with no weird affects.
- 4Lo tested- smooth and strong at low speeds.
- More user friendly throttle settings/names and just three choices:

Auto Transmission
1. Sport throttle- Aggressive, linear (much like our Regular/aggressive now but optimized for less jerky low speed)
2. Normal throttle- Used for Daily Driving but aggressive and linear (much like the old SLT but optimized and linear)
3. Lite throttle- Like the Stock/WifeTip throttle but optimized to be linear and smooth

Manual Transmission
1. Sport Throttle- most aggressive and responsive.
2. Normal Throttle- more than stock but easier for Daily Driving.
3. Lite Throttle- more than stock but 5% less than Normal.

@RedLantern Make sure you add that it is ONLY V6 Tacoma's 2016-2021 (Automatic) 2016-2020 (Manual)

 

RL - I'm interested. Can you do a 2020 now, you were limited earlier. Any chance of a trial run to see how I like it?

 

As long as you are Automatic Transmission. 2021 Manual is still not supported. Also only v6 tucks.
You will like it! So yes, we will put it on your truck and let you do a test run. You will come back with a big smile!

Depends. With the 10 min idle learning and talk story, can take 15-25mins or longer lol

 

Oh, that's quick, was thinking like 1hr. Loading the Diablosport tune on my 15 colorado from the handheld took longer.

 

I havent been to the Big Island for sometime now. Will let you know if i make my way there.

Thanks James!! Everybody on Oahu who owns a Tacoma should hit him up for this tune! I could tell the difference in the first couple of miles and know it will only get better! Also James is a super chill dude very easy to talk story with! It was nice meeting u bro and I’ll let everyone I know with a Tacoma looking for this tune!

Mahalo @RedLantern for doing my K & J tune today, amazing difference. 1st thing you’ll notice is the throttle response, you’ll have to learn to step more lightly on your gas pedal from a stop, otherwise the back of you head will have bruises from your headrest, lol. You can feel the difference in the performance of your truck as soon as you drive away after the tune.

Also Mahalo to @PapaRee for putting this tune together.

Like @50TH STATE mentioned above, all 3rd Gen Tacos should get this tune, otherwise you’re missing out on an unreal performance upgrade. You’ll be pleasantly surprised what our Taco’s can do on the blacktop.
