Another happy customer of the KDMax 6.0 tune from James @RedLantern Mahalo for hooking me up! For what it's worth, I opted for Super Light Throttle and the truck drives like a new vehicle. Went for a test drive and I automatically felt the difference. No more hunting for gears, smooth shifting and great throttle response! This tune is a no-brainer. Total time took about 20min since I had to update my TSB.

 

I’m gonna ditto what sahteeve said in the post above because it was the exact feelings I had after the tune done by James @RedLantern. James is really cool braddah, enjoyed talking story. To bad he wasn’t able to bring his Tacoma, would have loved to check it out. Maybe next time, if you’re on the fence about getting the tune, hop the fence, it’s definitely worth the 300. Thanks again James

Friday Bump!

Tuned this guy a little over a month ago. Sent me an update today. He has 35” tires with 5.29 gears and tuned with KDMax LT. Although it had gearing, he had said it still lacked power on the stock tune. KDMax Fixed his issue! Check out his truck!

@RedLantern - Will hit you up soon. Want to get my VDB 2021 updated. Didn't think I would need one and wrongly believed Toyota had largely corrected the gear hunting and throttle response, but I WAS WRONG. Don't even have 1K miles on the rig yet. Damn, can't believe this crap isn't fixed in 2021s.

Or, let me know when you are planning to do group tune meet-up and have open appointments. Going to continue reading up on the KDMax. Mahalo.

 

Aloha! Yes they haven’t really done any improvements in drivability for the newer years.

At the moment there are no group events as of yet since my day job takes up minority of my time. KDMax tunes are being done by appointment only at the moment. I’ll be sending you a PM in a moment For more info.
