Well, I guess us Nissaners are the type to pee into the wind... Heck, I might as well spit into it while I'm at it

I keep a couple shovels in my truck. Never gotten in so bad that I couldn't get out with a little digging, some air drainage, and maybe a walk or two up and down the beach to find some rocks or something.

Granted its a lot of work, and takes a good half hour, but it works

 

Lol hidden beach? I must find it! Where's this at? Kaena point waialua side?

 

I made it all the way in 2wd no problem. just avoid the mud, if there is any.

 

Today ill be cranking my coilovers. I think Nate and maybe brandon later might be coming over to watch me struggle. But if anyone else is in the Kaneohe area or wants to come by and kick it shoot me a call or txt for directions - 808652260seven (kauai numba so need 808)

 

The other day, I actually just ordered a US Military Folding Shovel to keep in the truck for that exact reason. Figured it would be a good investment. haha

 

lol, yeah I been there in my 2wd. Just don't slow down for the mud, and don't go too deep into that sand.. If you air down to get out of the sand, but don't air back up, it will get a little squarely on you when you go back through the mud.

Ive been there a few times now. i only used 2wd to get there and back. as long as you stay on the main road, and its dry, your good. but just i case, i got one of these in my truck at all times.

Oh dude, I take my Chocolate Lab to the beach out that side all the time (usually right across dillingham airfield but it can be really busy over there) I was wondering if it would be a bad idea to take her to this beach, but from your pics looks like its a great area! (I saw some signs about dogs not allowed, but is that further up into the point area?)

She loves the water and running around on the sand. I swear she has more fun than we do at the beach. lol.

My excuse is that I thought the sign was refering to the fenced in area. I just pick up his poop and keep his leash attached and it's all good lol. Hopefully I don't get cited anyway...

I wanna check it out too. I actually want to see how far the road goes before its blocked off. If I don't have to work, i'm definitely going to the Kaena meet.

I seriously work waaaayyy too much!! I put in about 70 hours last week and am already at 31 in 2 days this week.

I've got a lot of catching up to do in here!

So what's this I hear about Kaena Point on the 26th??? Someone give me the details and I will make it a priority to be there!

 

Just in case you haven't found it yet....may 26. We meet in the morning at Breakers in Haleiwa. But it'll probably be easier to go to the topic titled Kaena Point clean up.
