    Too long to list :D
You know I'll go down to the tracks with y'all if you go! I'm not an RC boat guy though. I'll still hang out though, love to watch them run, just too much work for me :)

You have all the best toys :D

    Just in time!

Brushless is where its at! What parts do you need for your truck? Lets get to some Kaena/Snadys racing!

Gas is also mostly upfront costs from what I have heard, not a lot of maintenance costs like with Nitro (oils, plugs, plug drivers, ect..) and the carbs are a lot easier to tune.

    Oh boy...
sup guys... thought id make a lil announcement to protect u guys from making the same stupid mistake i did.

so i know a few of you guys remember when we would have our meets down by sandys and i think even up at kaena, i would have issues with my intake filter falling off. So that was purely due to not tightening it enough because of lack of proper tools.

anyway the point of this post is to just make a friendly reminder for cleaning intake filters, mas air flows, and throttle body and even the intake manifold.

so here is my story--- 2 days ago i checked under my hood *(because i had that feeling my filter fell AGAIN) and sure enough it did. So i was thinking- "oh shit how long was i running like this." i decided to jump in one of the company tacomas and drive down to nappa. bought Deep Creep (super cleaner for intake parts MINUS MAF SENSOR), Carb-throttlebody-intake cleaner, and mass air flow cleaner. got back to work and started tearing shit apart and thank god i did this because HOLY crap there was a lot of black. luckily i didnt feel anything sold or rough so i think im in the clear.

sprayed and whiped down everything i could reach. checked my mas air flow sensor and it was pretty dirty as well. cleaned the shit out of it. waited for it all to dry. put it back together. now im getting better throttle response, torque, hp, and gas milage. So after all the fun in the dirt and sand we do. I suggest you guys do the same. I know every time you change a filter its recommended you do that and trust me its worth it.

just a suggestion for u guys, i know u guys got ur stuff on tight (unlike my lazy ass) but now its all fixed and back together tight as can be.

i wish i took pictures u guys would trip

I still think that if you adjusted the pipe to be pressing up against the air box, the filter would only have to hold itself onto the pipe and not be used to hold the pipe to the airbox. And don't worry about a little mess, it'll happen running a cotton/oiled filter anyway. Well, maybe you had more with the filter being off. Good thing you weren't at peacock flats, cause your motor would have ingested a lot of crap

yeah i see what ur saying. I would do that if the filter was a few inches longer. but i made a quick and easy modification that looks pretty good as well today that has made any chances of that filter falling off pretty slim to none now. and if it does fall off again, your suggestion is my next and final choice.

now that its fixed i think im almost peacock flats ready haha. just gotta put on my new leaf pack!!

you could also try and get longer couplings. I got some new high pressure (coolant rated) silicone ones when I replaced the original Toyota red ones from the intake kit...big pain in the ass to install, but my intake is solid.

yeah, I ordered em from OCtaco; can shoot him a PM that you need a set a few inches longer to account for the lift.

Be careful removing the rears at the top, one of mine gave me a bit of trouble and was stubborn. The line ended up being flared a little too much on the truck side so I had to man-handle it enough to start the threads.

Yes. You wont need a spring compressor. I'd pay the extra. My fox C/Os came assembled from DSM.
