Neil...I feel the same as well. I originally wanted the Bushwackers as I planned on going 285's, so I wanted the tire coverage...but now I'm in a holding pattern since I like my current wheel setup. I think eventually I'll go to the Methods in a 17" and then get 285's or bigger...that's down the road until the treads are gone...

Kaleo...how high is your truck ride? Do you need extended brake lines? Mine seems ok at stock for now, but I was pondering whether to get longer lines. Not sure if I need them at my current height setup

I was just wondering how stable the truck is when center lifted on the Hi-Lift? Wondered if it would teeter easily...prob so. I guess you probably would want to just not even try and push that envelope...

I guess that's a true statement. Although I was OK at Peacock Flats, I never pushed the limits. I might have to invest in a set of those. Whose the vendor on TW for those or did you purchase off the net?

Im running the rcd extetended 5100's. All around im at 2.5" lift. So the brake lines are only for extra flex in da rear.

Question for your guys with some painting experience. If you paint over a Powder Coated surface how can you maintain that textured look without the paint looking too smooth. I had to touch up a couple nuts on my light bar with some flat black rattle, so I masked around the nut heads and it came out ok, but the surface around the nuts is now smooth compared to the bracket PC 'd surface. I need to texturize it a bit for a better blend and was hoping for some ideas on this..? Light Sanding?

Edit: Figured out the best way is to just spray the whole thing with rattle can texturized paint. Easy fix...

I think if I propped open the back door before starting, I could...suicide door requires the front to be opened first, and not enough room to open without hitting the jack.

it was pretty stable...I rocked the truck back and forth a little before setting the parking brake and pulling the tires just to see

brake lines are needed more for the rear droop than anything else...more for the guys with full leaf packs or shackle flip.

try to mist a little paint on it from further away...you'll have to mask a larger area, but it should maintain most of the texture.

he wants to go 4"spindles.. crap, depends on boss4x4 GB, I may just go 4" spindles already.... minus tge wheels sticking out more....

again, depends on the GB from boss.. that other vendor, even I have his stuff...

May have to use a textured spray..

then you'd really need some wider fenders :p
