    Thank you.
It was a real PITA to fit it up in there.
I'll be mounting a tank under the bed soon.

Not sure if you've already chosen a pass-through spot from inside the cab to outside, but there's a little rubber grommet right under the rear seats in the middle that I ran my air lines through. I don't have a photo, but if you get under the truck you'll see it right above the driveshaft, and it just pops out. It's a straight shot into the plastic compartments if you drill a hole in the bottom.

Yeah, I mounted mine to a piece of plywood to avoid that. Nice and quiet!

I used the hole in the back of the cab (same as @Crom). It's a really tight space if you retain the plastic bin like I did. I also decided to use a bulkhead coupling so I had to drill the hole a bit.

Those of you who run a tank, is it setup between your compressor and the manifold, or is it an open setup with a "T" connector? I have mine plumbed so that my compressor charges the tank, and everything is charged directly from the tank so that my compressor only really needs to run when I'm airing up/running tools, and the lockers can actuate dozens of times without kicking the compressor back on.

I'm noticing a lot of moisture collecting in my filter, which I assume is from condensation in the tank. Do any of you see the same thing?

I know I'm quoting an old post, but it brings up exactly what I am searching for. I'm not running any tools, I just want to air up my tires now and then. I'm trying to figure out what the important specs are to look for in a reliable and reasonably priced compressor for my needs. I don't think I need to mount it anywhere, I just need to pull it out of the bag and clip it to the battery and hopefully not spend half an hour bringing the tires back to street pressure. Any thoughts or tips? Thanks

I've been quite happy with my Superflow MV-90. You can buy it on Amazon here, but I was able to get it off eBay for $120 several years back. The unit has a few disappointing parts to begin with, but I have listed some easy upgrades to make it a very nice unit, with an auto-off pressure switch, improved air chuck, and capability to use a standard hose.

The dual ARB will air up tires the fastest among the compressors. Anything that isn't 100% duty cycle is gonna take a long time

But if you want really fast, then a CO2 tank would be it

I just finished getting the tank mounted up. It was outrageously difficult. I asked the wife for help, but I had to quickly send her back inside because she started asking too many questions. I can't believe that I actually got it mounted in that spot...very tight clearance for the bolts.

@cannedtaco was looking for something cheap, so the dual ARB is out, that costs double what I proposed. Althrough the MV90 is only 60% duty rated, I typically beat other people still and I've been able to fill 2 rigs in a row.
The Viar 90P is more than half my unit in cost, but it's really slow IIRC.
