Yeah... and when it does go, it is loud.

Correct, from the chuck to the tool, not a problem. I ran stainless all throughout to the Peterbilt fan clutch switch. Exiting the slider, 3/8" ID rubber fuel line to the chuck. I use the supplied ARB chuck and orange line for my tire gauge and air tools.

and since there is a swivel union on the end, this will reduce the amount of fittings I need to run regular hose. Ill just thread it directly into the compressor and directly into the tank.

    Nice stuff there.
Does the black line get close to any heat from the exhaust?

Yea, it dives down near the manifold, but tucked against the fender liner, but it doesn't get too hot.

What thread your guys think this is?

The green arrow. It's next to 1/4" NPT for reference.

    I'm guessing 1/8"???

Came off my ARB air chuck.
    IMG_20161012_173055.jpg

I may call ARB. I'm trying to upgrade the business end. But I don't think it's removable from the stainless hose.

    Probably 1/8 BSP

I take it you're replacing the line? Was it an Open flow air chuck vs a closed flow?

As long as it's the configuration you want it'll do the job.

The ARB air chuck is a little too cheap. I'm trying to upgrade the end that clips on the valve stem. As seen in the photo, I can remove the stainless hose, but the ends are crimped and not serviceable, so yeah, need to find new line with right thread, AND will work with 1/4 NPT.

I might go full custom if I have to...

    All,
Be careful using 1/8" threaded fittings w/ ARB components.

I actually ordered the 90 exiting my ARB manifold from a place I can't recall but the fitting came from Poland. Damn thing was $27.00 US.

The difference in the fittings is the thread pitch... one is @ 45 degrees, the other is 55 degrees. I don't remember which is which but a place that sells hydraulic & AN fittings can tell you.

I know this because I f'd up my manifold and had to purchase a second. No pipe dope or thread sealant could eliminate the small leak.

    Good luck.
