Thanks. Good to hear. I just added a portable one with quick disconnect so I use it at the end on my 25' air hose, right before the tire inflator. Only two air up sessions since getting it, but so far, so good. It was wheeling after rainy days that did it for me!

It seems like a good product. I spoke with them today and put my name on the order list for when they get more in stock. Just figured I'd ask if there was any other companies making something similar.

Won't you lose your ability to switch in to 4 at higher speeds without the electronic switch?

Not sure on the 4Runners, but on my Taco I can engage 4x4 up to 60 mph with the electronic transfer case/switch. I used in in Co last month on icy roads during a storm, it was handy.

Nope. It's all the same. Weather you have the electronic actuator shift it or you manually shift it, it's still the same concept. Just a different means of doing so. You can freely shift from 2 to 4 any time at speed with the manual case.

Has anyone seen a first gen, or have a first gen, that used the passenger rear compartment for the compressor?!

I would like to put my dual arb compressor here but mounting it securely in there is a bit daunting right now. Anyone have any thoughts?

Purely a guess, but I don't think it will fit. The single fits, but with very little room for error. The way you see mine mounted is the only orientation that would allow me to close the lid.

So I just installed my ARB twin compressor with manifold over the weekend. I didn't have time to test airing up a tire, but when hooking up my hose and blow gun the pressure seemed really weak. I was honestly shocked at how weak the stream of air was, I'd surprised it if took under 10 minutes to air up one tire. Now my first thought was that there was an air leak from a connection but the ARB manual said if you pressurize the system and then turn it back on after 15 minutes and it has to pressurize the manifold again that there is probably a leak. I tried that and it didn't pressurize again. I have yet to do a soap test. Curious if this is a normal amount of air. Anyone surprised by the same after installing their ARB twin compressor?

Finally getting onboard air for Karl. There is a group buy for air tanks if anyone is interested. 20% off. Good deal. Same set up as the outer tank but half the price

That's awesome, nice work! Yes it will fit in more than one orientation. The dual is very flat but its a large footprint so making a mount is going to be tricky, but your work has inspired me and sometimes that's all I need! I'll see what I can come up with and post it up.
