Dang, that’s what I was afraid of. I don’t have a techstream, but I’m sure it’s a different PID, that makes the most sense.

Just wanted to give an update, I deleted the app off my phone, added it back, selected all the PIDs I wanted, and the engine oil works now. So, it seems that all the 2021 PIDs do work, at least the ones I’ve tried. Thanks everyone, this is a great thread, with tons of great info.

After spending far too much time on it, it occurred to me you can stack gauges like this if you set the background of the top one to transparent (FFFFFF or 00FFFFFF). I hope this saves someone's time and frustration!

Funny thing is I don't even need to stack them. 1st gens just don't have that many sensors, lol

I designed a few 1st gen style dials if anyone's interested. I'll attach them here.

Yep, stacking is a good way to optimize your screen real estate.

fwiw, I’ve asked the developer if he would design a bar gauge (like a thermometer), those could be really efficient. Drop your voice in the bucket too if you think it has value.

I still can’t figure this out, using Obd fusion on android. Maybe it’s an iOS only feature?

The Carista adapter is just a regular BT device. Plug it in and make a connection on your phone, if you haven't already. From there Fusion should pick it up when you launch the app.

I realize it’s in this thread somewhere but I can’t find it. Can someone please tell me which PID in the OBD fusion app is the gear shift one? I used to have it but for some reason it left my dashboard. I remember it being a weird name that you can’t tell just from the list. Thanks.

Status of the Shift Status/Lo or Hi

That is what mine is and it is a Toyota PID, not a User-defined PID

Brother I remember you always being so very helpful as you are being now. Thank you. That’s not on my list of P IDs though. I don’t even have a Toyota PID list. Is there anything more I can tell you to help you help me?

It is a add on that I had to pay $10 for.
Go to settings, Purchase Extras, Toyota,Lexus, Scion. Then choose your year and pay.
Then you can have all the Toyota specific PIDs

EDIT- It is $14.99 now---It went up

You the man. I actually remembered now that I had paid for that in the past. For some weird reason I had to restore my purchases on the app and then because of what you told me in you first response I found what I was looking for in the options. Thank you so much. I really appreciate your help.

Hi all, I’m trying to speed my dashboard up and after deleting a load of stuff I realised ‘logging’ was active.

Does logging have an effect on how quickly items refresh

I don’t *think so*. But haven’t tested to confirm.
