I've tried the search function and checked the user manual and came up empty. So can someone please tell me where the OBDII is located. The reason is, i just purchased a ScangaugeII and need to know where the plug in is. Thank you.

I'd search under your dash, by your left knee.

Yup! Or just behind (underneath) that little opening compartment. The OBD port will be covered with a black plastic cover - you'll have to take the cover off.

It is under the dash, driver's side, left leg side, forward of and attached to the fuse box group on the steering column side, pointed down, black plastic rectangle cover over a trapezoidal shaped plug with two rows of connectors, almost directly above the parking brake pedal.
This is on a 2006 Tacoma.
