Odd clunking after sitting for three weeks

    hi guys!

    I just put in a new alternator after not having one for three weeks and noticed something odd. There is an odd clunking noise present if the car is engaged (in drive or in reverse) and if the AC is on. If one of those conditions isn't met the clunking is not present. Any ideas?

    In gear or with AC on you'd putting a load on the engine. Is everything tight?
