    Hi,
    Can I use larger YZDD3 in my 15- prerunner-2.7-i4-DC-AT-RWD?

Also what's a difference between 90915-YZDD1 vs 90915-YZDD3 ? I see that YZDD3 is longer but opening is same size!?

    Thank you!

Yup, a 90915-YZZD3 filter fits perfectly, that's what I use on my 2.7. The D3 is longer than a D1, so (I think) the D3 has more filter media inside, along having slightly more oil capacity.

    Yes.

Your opening statement was correct. It's larger. ;):D

But as @nickonfire700 says, longer, touch more media, touch more capacity.

If it costs more (IDK) it's not worth the cost, you should still be on 10k intervals.

I see you have an auto? There are transmission fluid lines below the filter that may cause nuisance if you used a longer filter:

Really no downside to using bigger filter. I use the YZZD3 on a Lexus RX400 and I use the filter for Lexus on a Prius. I think Toyota uses maybe 4 or five different filters and some are interchangeable. Why not go for increased capacity and filtration?

Good point! But i believe there is enough clearance for YZDD3.
