Oem clock and outside temp gauge

Hey guys dos any one know if the 1st. gen tacomas came with the oem outside temp gauge and or clock? And if so are the tacomas prewired if thay didnt come equipped? I did a search but came up empty handed.

 

It did not as far as I know.

 

No temperature gauge for a first gen that I know of. especially not in the 90's, I don't believe trucks even had those back then.
So obviously there won't be any wiring or sensors already installed for such.

Some did come with a digital clock (Limited and TRD maybe?).
My SR5 does not have one.

No biggie, since my stereo has one.

Mine came with the Digital Clock (SR5 & TRD packages) but no outside temp gauge...

Ok on that note. I wounder if my truck is prewired for one and where can I get the clock?

I bought a clock on Ebay years ago for a 2001 Tacoma I had. It came without a clock...the one I bought plugged right in and the whole install took maybe 20 mins. My 2003 I have now came with a clock..

PS: Make sure you know what back lighting you buy...some are green and some are red.

I just bought a 2014 Tacoma and it has no outside air temp gage. Can anyone recommend and OEM outside thermometer?

 

You posted in the wrong section and your best bet is to buy one from the dealership.

Old post, but Ill add:

my 99 SR5 4cyl auto 4x4 came with a clock. My 96 4cyl 5 speed 2wd did not. I bought a clock and installed it. The plug for the clock was plugged into the back of the panel (where the clock should be). I ended up with just the clock, and cut a hole in the panel for the clock. Pretty easy and unless you look really close you cant tell I cut anything. I had forgot that it didn't come with a clock till just now...
