In post #70 above the pics are 2nd and 5th showing the back of the mics and the connection that goes to it. I'm not sure the wired connection has an actual part number.

No pt# in pic 5. That’s what I meant or was getting after when asking about a diagram (sometimes his diagrams have pt# next to the connectors). I’m not there where I can look at a connector and have an idea of brand etc to comb through and compare that pic with like some. No worries about the wires or harness just to see if I can find the matching pair for a pnp extension.

edit: I keep saying part number but to clarify not of the switch itself the numbers that are on the actual connector

The connector that plugs into the microphone sensor does have some numbers on it: 11950 and t33. That's all I can make out... the numbers are tiny.

It doesn’t really. First it’s a quick way to tell if the vehicle has a factory alarm or not, second (this is an assumption) since there are sometimes limited trigger circuits on alarms, this may tie into the hood trigger circuit. I seem to remember something in the instructions about checking for a loop back connector in that area of the hood, and they supply one in the kit if you don’t have one installed. So if this does infact tie into the hood trigger circuit and that loop back wasn’t connected it would always read an open circuit, therefor never triggering the alarm.

I am looking at the install instructions, putting the hood Jumper Connector is easy. Why do most people bypass that step?

My 2021 Off-road has the actual hood latch switch, so installing the jumper would have been a downgrade. The way mine is now, if someone pops the hood, the alarm goes off.

Has been discussed above, but some of us have ordered the short “mic” version for our manuals.

Good to know. I already have that spot taken with a light bar switch and meso puddle light switch.

I think I found them here- the different names are throwing me off though sumi and yaz. Yay or nay?

    Hi1000 has a flat rate min. 20

corsa didn’t have anything and the only other place I found some were easternbeaver (moto site) which has a 10$ min. Ship small packet or 15$ for fedex. I’ll likely buy from hi1000 since I have before and had no issues.

I think I might already have some of those m/f terminals from a past purchase but your right better to have more than screw up a crimp and not enough. I might get a few extra connectors if anyone speaks up now that I can put together but not sure I want to add to all the pnp makers out there now for such a small demand.

Technically only 2 m/f terminals are needed for the original gbs harness right? unless we can find a pnp add on for the led switch light
