OEM Inline Microphone Adapter for Use With Aftermarket Head Units - TESTERS WANTED!

This is one of the reasons I have not gone with an aftermarket head unit. I will definitely buy one of these when they hit the market!!! ETA on when this might be up for sale?

 

We are currently working with a couple people who will be testing our product. That said, I'm hoping they will be for sale before the end of the year. Me and my two business partners are all college students and it can be tricky getting our schedules to align so that we can work on it. Anyways, we are very excited about how much interest this project has gotten and we would like to thank all of you.

 

I have a 2017 tech package MT no jbl with an aftermarket unit. Unfortunately im on the other coast, if you need someone who is handy with a meter to probe some pins I can do that and get the info back to you. I was going to build something myself but I just came across this post. Id gladly pay for it regardless.

Keeping this on my radar.
I have the JBL (2018) and will almost certainly be upgrading to a new headunit before moving to LA (traffic and commute times!). However, I don't move to LA until June.
I hope, for everyone's sake (and your business!), that you are done testing by then. If you are, I want one. If not, I will beta test one!

Any updates on beta results and availability?

 

We have a couple forum members who are currently using the adapters and so far we haven't heard any complaints. Assuming no issues come up, I'm hoping we receive the final shipment by the new year or soon after.

I have a 3rd gen 2018 TRD OR w/ JBL and have installed an aftermarket head unit. I am not local to you, but am handy enough to give you the info you need with a multimeter.

Yeah we are still interested in testers for the JBL system. We are making slight revisions to our prototypes and then we will be contacting people about more beta testing! I can put you on the list if you're interested.

I’m in Colorado, but I can run a multimeter and I’ll have an aftermarket stereo in mine in about a week.

2018 w/ JBL

 

How’s the progress? I have a 2016 Trd Sport w/out JBL and replaced the head unit with a Pioneer avh-w4400nex. I’d much rather use the stock placement of this bluetooth mic as opposed to the current position on my visor. If you’re still up for testers, I can also run a multimeter and willing to provide feedback. In Ohio, btw. Thanks

 

Hi just got a 2019 sport with jbl. Replaced with pioneer 8400nex.

All is good with install and need to ditch the pioneer mic and would be happy to help test and live in LA.
