Bought this on eBay. Though it seems to be an OEM knockoff. I was going to install it this morning but I'm going to need some extra hands. I have a Leer cap which is going to prevent me from accessing that section at the back of the cab. I'm heading to my friends house this afternoon though so maybe he'll give me a hand. All I really need to do is unbolt the cap, disconnect my wiring harness, and slide the cap back a few inches.

I like the OEM roof rack simply because it's designed for the truck with no holes to drill.

Sorry if SIAP. Cannot seem to find good info on routing of light wiring harness to the roof. Any good tips on this stuff?

The instruction sheet (pdf) link is no longer available. Does anyone have a new link?
EDIT: I found a link for the 3rd Gen roof rack installation instructions:
    https://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/installation/my12 tacoma roof rack-ppo issa.pdf
It states for 2012+ so it may be handy for anyone.

I was able to get the rack on without any issues. The package didn't contain the rubber washers, but I used silicon around the holes as a sealant. Also the rack fits snug and I didn't have to do any bending of brackets or anything. I'm wondering if this could be related to OEM part vs Chinese or perhaps the latest version (PT278-35170).

I'll post pics, shortly. Looks great!
