Yeah those look nice, I wasn't really looking for a skid plate when I came across mine. It was brand new and I paid a forth of what those steel ones are going for. So I figured why not.

I may make the dealer throw one of those skidplates in as part of my deal. My '05 came with one on it, so I don't don't know what they cost. What would I expect to pay if I bought one after the point of sale?

And Tacoma All Weather mats too?

    Thanks

I got mine installed a the dealership and they took the factory plate off... for some reason i thought it was a bolt on over top of the factory plate... should I ask them to put it back on?

update, the dealership re-instaled the factory cover under the skid-plate, they really didn't know what there where doing when it got instaled the first time, there was a big gap on the left side and 10mm difference on the right side...

bought my skid off a fellow TW member. OEM same, he sent the 1/2" washers but didnt have the long bolts. I cant get it on without them and the idiot at toyota (who ive talked to and shown the bolts) has no idea where to get them, smh. Do you guys know anywhere I can pick up the M8 bolts needed to clear both skids? Home depot has a M8 bolts but different thread pattern. Any help would be awesome. Thanks!

Hey guys! I know this is an older thread but would anyone happen to know if the OEM aluminum skid plate bolts over the existing stock plate that's already on there for a 2013 prerunner? Thank you.
