I know there is a very active thread on the OEM TRD Leveling Lift, but thought I would start a new tread to see if some of the really plugged in members, with Toyota affiliations, could shed some light.

Had new 2021 OR all lined up for the TRD Lift when dealer called and said Toyota corporate issues an "All Stop" for installs. They also could not order the kit due to "All Stop." Since I'm in Hawaii and the dealerships can be a little difficult to work with, I called 5 mainland dealerships and spoke with service and parts departments. All of them verified the "All Stop" order and the dealership in Beaverton OR., even read the screen to me and said it had red exclamation points. He said it was unusual, but not completely uncommon when Toyota detects an issue.

So, anyone else tracking this BS? Anyone of the forum have some deep Toyota contacts that can get some ground truth on why and whether a fix or resolution is in the works?

I had the kit installed a couple weeks ago. I'm curious about this also if some issue has been found.

idk, the toyota configurator in the mountain states region is offering the lift as an option now, seems inconsistent with this report but may just be reative timing.

At a Toyota dealership in Pennsylvania for service now. Just asked and it's 1900 out the door and they can do it tomorrow.

They've got 3 kits in stock and the have next day delivery if they ran out.

Damn...You are all lucky to get it installed. Like I said, I personally called several dealerships around the country to try and get ground truth and find out why their internal system is showing "all stop." Even my local dealer in Hawaii is showing "all stop" and will NOT install lift. In fact, they told me they are unable to order lift package. Just started Sat and they have already installed several. I started the thread to see if there are any "connected" folks that could find out (internally) what is going on.

Would not be surprised if the above dealers didnt actually put it into their system. Probably just answered "yes we can do it" out of habit.

So things in Canada might be different, but here is what happened when this launched.
Initially Toyota Canada had a "stop sales code" on the parts for the lift. In this case, it meant that they needed a VIN to confirm fitment prior to releasing the parts. As of a couple weeks ago, that stop sales is removed and the parts are able to be ordered. (However, we cannot see actual stock availability)

    Good info!

Probably to prevent those three folks in Canada with Pros from making a small mistake? :D

LOL! No. It was applicable only to short box trucks for some reason?

Thats interesting because I know Servco was pushing their custom lifted new trucks with 17" 4Runner Pro wheels with AT tires, Pro grill, etc. Wonder if it applied to that as well.

Since it is a 2in lift to start, I wonder with the ACLBs being a bit lighter if the lift was more than 2in and somehow unacceptable for corporate?

What do you think about the lift so far? How much height increase did it achieve? I've been thinking of getting the TRD lift done on my 21 off road for christmas.

Good So far. Rides same as stock. I think I got just over 2in in the front, but looks perfectly level. Didn't really want to get the pro grill, but was part of the package.
