@HeliMedic makes a great dual battery kit have had mine well over a year no problems defiantly worth it. Super simple and clean!

Used the last bit of space by washer fluid and relocated power steering. for an ARB twin compressor. Wired to the aux battery. This is a slee mount.

Looking good Rick! Thanks for the pics. Your project has inspired me to start putting together single battery power packages

Thanks, it turned out great. Will probably be adding the light bar soon and excited to use the power plugs out on the trail.
I think the single deep cycle battery setup is a great option for those of us just needing something for the weekend camping trip.

Did you extend the starter cable, or replace it?

Extended with our cable conversion kit. Tinned copper butt connector, hydraulically crimped, covered in marine grade heatshrink and techflex. Very solid.

Got the dual battery setup in and just ordered the switch pro to go with it! Now I just need to track down some batteries in this country filled with hatchbacks and mopeds...

Has anyone installed the dual separate batteries in a 3rd Gen Off-road tacoma and still put a single ARB compressor somewhere?

If so, can I have a couple pics of it to see how it all turned out!

    Thanks,

Threw it all in today. I am annoyed with the angle of the Pelfrey fuse mount and how close it makes things sit to the fender. I plan to throw some spacers in there over the next couple of days to make it easier to work on things. Also, the switch is awaiting my switch pro before i route and place anything.

Maybe I will give this a go then. It just seemed so awkward up in the air.

@WormSquirts Thanks for the tip on Saskbattery. I couldn't believe how much cheaper they were than the Interstate Battery distributor next door to my work. I'll save $200 on my batteries with them.

@HeliMedic Thanks Matt. I'm finally going to pick my kit up next weekend from the shipping depot.

My willpower is wavering. This is definitely my next mod. Just have to keep reminding myself I need to wait a little. :D
