Hi Tyler! Thanks for the question...

The ML-ACR has several preset algorithms, as outlined in the user manual published here:
    http://assets.bluesea.com/files/resources/instructions/990180180.pdf

It sounds like your ACR did its job and went in to under voltage lockout mode. You were absolutely right to cycle the switch to the "off" position and back to "auto". This is the remedy to clear out any codes.

Here is a portion of the user manual that describes the algorithm that caused your problem:

    Undervoltage or Overvoltage Lockout.

    • Undervoltage lockout prevents batteries from being combined when either battery is below 9.6V@12V DC operation or 19.2V@24V DC operation.

In addition to clearing the ACR, it would be a good idea to throw that battery on a good battery charger to get it topped up.

I still love this kit. I'm not running a fancy battery (Group 34 Duralast Platinum) and it powered my Dometic CF-50 fridge for four days without running the truck. It was nice weather (highs in the mid 60's) which helps but leaving camp on the last day the battery was still at 12.3v, so about 60% charge remaining.

They are unofficially available now... It will be a few more weeks before you see packaged systems available on our website. Feel free to shoot me an email if you'd like to be put in line for the first Tacoma package.

Thanks for the information! And I figured out the issue. A pressure switch light that was not properly kicking off, thus leaving things on and hidden for long periods of time.

@HeliMedic does running an AGM Group 35 battery require an up graded alternator?

Thanks for confirming that, I couldn't find an answer via the search function. Also, just got my shipping notification from you. :taco:I was expecting three weeks, but you made it happen in two. Stoked!

I guess I'm the guinea pig for it. It's not on the website yet, but I was told would be very soon. I hope I'm not letting the cat out of the bag. He's using the RedArc Dual Charger. But there are several on the market, like CTEK and Projecta.

Look at the CTEK Dual. I came across a place out of Miami that sells them very cheap:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/CTEK-D250S-...UT-/162586167960?_trksid=p2385738.m2548.l4275

I was leaning this way before I learned about the RedArc. While it seems the CTEK has cooler charging technology, the RedArc outputs 25A vs 20A on the other two brands. That's pretty cool for reducing charging time. :)

Hmm, Looks like I was wrong. The Projecta looks like it's also 25 Amps. I also thought that Australian Direct started selling in the US, but it looks like they don't.
