    1.5" Wheel spacers all around, 2.0 fox coil over with foxes in the back to match it up, add a leaf. 285/70/r16 general grabbers. my magnaflow exhaust k&n intake just threw in some maxtrac spindles. Total chaos UPA. Bunch of other little things
    So I I'm trying to buy a jack and can't decide which one to get i would prefer a red one and found this one but it doesn't tell me too much info as far as height. I have a single cab with a 3" lift sitting on 33" tires, and mostly go off roading in soft sand ( the dunes) if I can just get some of your guys/girls opinions on this jack or one you bought and which company is better/ more reliable.

    This one is cheap which is nice but cheap always scares me. I have an ad in Orw magazine for a smitty bilt 54" for 50 bucks but don't know which size I need or is better. Thanks in advance

    Pretty much stock with some crap welded to it.
    That link is just for the strap that hooks your high lift to the tire, one thing I wouldn't go cheap on would be a jack, it's only worth as much as that "one time" your really need it, and if it doesn't work that one time then why have one. Id go with a Hi lift, there's not much too them and there very reliable. Good luck.

    Well the link you provided is not the jack itself but an accessory for it. That's the Hi-lift mate for lifting at the rim with the jack. The hi-lift jack is the one you want and is going to run you closer to $100 for the higher end one and I think about $60 for the lower end model. I suggest the higher end if you plan to use it often, but thats my opinion.

    As they say... don't go cheap with a jack... I love my Hilift, but from your sign picture I can't tell if you have sliders, front bumper or tow hitch... You will need a point where you can put all the weight of your truck!

    What size should I go with? Orw magazine has a 54" trail jack for 50 bucks on sale should that be good?

    Also you will want to get sliders or the rear bumper... only lifting the truck from the front won't help all the time!

    I know it's on sale and it probably a decent jack, that I dont know. But there is a lot of credability and reliability behind the hi lift brand. Spending a little more is worth it every time you would use it. Like others have said, dont skimp on something like this, because you don't want to wish you didnt skimp on it when the time comes to use it. Here is the one I got, you could probably shop around for a better price. But it's probably the last jack you will ever purchase for this purpose. You can read about the differences on the models, but its basically about how long it will last depending on how often you use it. This one also comes with the spreader, you never know until you need it.

    Thanks everyone I ended up getting the one from 4 wheels parts. I'll give it a shot it got very good reviews and it is a hi lift jack so has a good name too . Thanks a lot

    I've had a Hi-Lift for a decade now. It was a decade old when I got it. Been beat to death more than any jack should be allowed. I finally KO'd it when I took it apart for the first time in 20 years to clean it and straighten some bent parts -- turns out the reversing cam bar doesn't like being straightened once bent.
    But since I was in the market for a taller one anyway (my 3" lift 33" tires have max'd out the 48" Hi-Lift), I saw that as my opportunity to explain to the wife how I now needed to upgrade (she didn't need to know I could order the part by itself). So now I'm the proud owner of Hi-Lift's best- the 60" Xtreme.

    Since it sounds like you're new to Hi-Lifts, some pointers (all of which come from direct personal experience):

    When lubing the mechanism, use a dry lube. Teflon, graphite, or some other DFL. Don't use anything that will attract and hold dust. Or you'll be out there with a hammer getting the reversing cam to kick down on every release stroke.
    Speaking of keeping the mechanism lubed and clean, spend the extra bucks to get the neoprene boot (no need for the full cover). You'll wish you had if you keep it outside all the time (as in, bolted onto the truck somewhere).
    The Hi-Lift is as famous for its instability as it is for its durability. The higher it goes, the easier it is to fall over. Which, if you end up dropping one side of the truck in a ditch, it quite handy because you can basically "walk" the truck sideways by lifting it to its max and then knocking it over. The instability issue is why I posted the link above to the Safe Jack. Absolutely amazing product, amazing customer service, and sticks with the K.I.S.S. principle; also, if you upgrade (or downgrade) jack sizes in the future, they have no problem shipping you just the cables.
    There are at least a million different ways to mount it to whatever you want to mount it to. You could spend the big bucks on Hi-Lift's various mounts, but I have so far mounted mine three different ways in five different locations on three different trucks using $12 worth of off-the-shelf hardware at Homey Despot, including provisions for padlocking it. It currently sits on top of my ARB front bumper.
    Not like you'll ever need it, but carry the rebuild kit with you. It replaces the parts that are intended to shear if the jack is ever overloaded (think winching in mud). One of those things that will break at the absolute worst time (but they don't break -- I've discovered the Hi-Lift can handle a little more than its rated capacity).

    Btw- I found out this weekend that 4WP honors Amazon pricing without verification :headbang:

    Damn that's for the info and write up. Deff will purchase the soft sand stabilizer i was looking at the 60 but ended up getting the 54" but I will end up buying the 60" for my wife's truck

    3 inch lift, custom built tool box, aftermarket headlights, smoked taillights, diff lock any time mod :), k&n cold air intake, after market headunit with 2 10inch subs behind the rear seat
    I work on a farm and we have 3 of them. i have a plate that is 2 foot X 2 foot welded on the bottom of mine but i use it quite often in a plowed field. The plate is 1/4 thick it does not have to be welded to the jack for storage purposes but i would but a pice of angle around were the base of the jack sits on it so it dont slip off

    That's a great idea I'm actually going to use the idea sounds great for the soft sand
