Does anyone know of any off-road shops that sell decent parts and also does installations? I don't mind ordering parts online but I'd rather buy them in person.

For installs, I go with torfab in Mukilteo. They specialize in restoring land cruisers, but do installs, maintenance, etc.

Edit: they moved to everett for a bigger shop

They are really good but their lead time is insane, like 2 months last I checked.

Dang, got my lift installed there last summer. Made a call, and dropped off my truck about two weeks later.

Went there once to check it out and see how much they do installs for of sliders, electronics, lifts, etc.
1.) Their selection is small AF of off-road parts

    and

2.) They charge to even look at the vehicle and then their install prices were outrageous

I'm not much help but it's better than nothing :)
Now I'm down in SoCal :annoyed: so hopefully I'll be back up in the PNW with you guys again soon!! :oldglory:

Just keep throwin' money at it.
They have more lifts, more inside space, and good/bad they have grown more busy. That being said, love the guys there. I've ordered FJ40/FJ60 parts from them. They helped me install some stuff on the spot. Very knowledgeable staff and they all really like what they do. Plus they make some impressive and drool worthy conversions there. They are working on an FJ60 body with FJ80 frame and running gear combo right now. The engine is a Toyota diesel as well.

Hey, I just came across this thread. I'm in the Seattle area & my taco got broken into & the crackheads tried to steal it using screwdrivers so they rekt the ignition & doorlocks, stole the cat & battery, rekt the hood latch.

I was looking for a shop that could address this stuff & at the same time have them take a look at the long travel since I've been having some issues holding an alignment.

Anyone have any suggestions for shops around here? Insurance will pay to have it towed there at least... haha

Came across Aaron’s Olympic 4x4 in Snohomish. Will update if there's a negative experience, otherwise presume good :)

I won't be able to unfortunately - i'm out of town Saturday. I'm definitely curious though to check this place out - glad the area is getting more shops/stores for this type of thing.

Do you plan to go? Would love to hear how it looks/is

So I went. Rain held off. Great sale on camping gear 25% off. Most stuff is Ironman. Learned a lot about their suspension and how they designed it. Was for their military. They have not had nor heard about any degradation of the neoprene in the shocks. Would have bought their suspension. If I didn’t already have one. Go check them out.
