Is anyone using off-roading apps to find trails? I’ve got Gaia Maps to track my trail rides and will use All Trails, the Dyrt, and Free Roam to find camp sites and trails. What are you all using? I’m wondering if there is a share feature in the apps so trails can be saved / shared in a group once they have been completed.

I just got my refurbished IPad from Ebay I bought exclusively to run Gaia, I was looking at Lowrance but the cost is insane.

Just discovered Avenza as Coconino Forestry service offered a free map for their motor vehicle use . However, not many of these are free... so I think I'll stick with downloading the sectors I want on GAIA (premium) and using these when off-roading/offline.

To be specific, on Gaia I like the USFS 2016 for camping/trails, MVUM for Off-roading, Public Land for BLM camping and National Map for traveling. In addition to those, I primarily look up campsites with iOverlander, and sometimes with freecampsites.net .. Fun fact, iOverlander seems to hold a lot of data about sites near you even while offline.

Since getting to AZ and finding the bounty of off-roading to be had here, I started googling and came across a few websites at the recommendation of the youtube channel, TrailRecon. He's a really good resource himself as you can SEE the trail happening in his videos. Anyway, the sites he recommended are trailsoffroad.com and funtreks.com

Would love to hear what others are using on Gaia and more in-depth route-planning techniques.
