Michigan is very deep and well rounded. But many of those guys are likely not coming back next season so we'll see how they carry this momentum into next season. They'll have a rematch with Washington, play Texas, USC, and Oregon as new opponents next season. Most people also assume Harbaugh is leaving and Sherrone Moore will be the next HC, although I hope Jim stays.

 

Once again congrats to the national champions. as a dawg I was obviously rooting for a 3 peat but seeing a program that hasn’t won in a while is good for the sport, in my opinion.

 

I’m excited to see the 12 team playoff format. Hopefully this change will be good for the sport and bring some great games to us and relevancy to more of the post/bowl season games.

The committee was so right, you can’t play with subpar QB play. These two guys, sheesh, generational stats here.

 

Penix Jr definitely struggled last night. It was tough to watch.

 

Good defensive play by both teams on multiple levels. It goes to show there's more to a QB or team than someone who can make a bunch of passes.

The final score was not indicative of how well Washington played.

 

But but the committee said there’s not more to a team than a QB!!

It was a well played pass defense by both teams. That's where the running game comes in. Michigan had that from the two explosive runs at the beginning of the game to a hard pounding run game. Both quarterback have great talent and McCarthy is a "very smart" qb.
