Oregon and Ohio State are the two elite teams. All others in the top 10 are good but can lose at anytime. I have a sneaky feeling though in the end alabama and Georgia will be in the thick of things.

To be fair, Indiana will have their first real test in 2 weeks. They nearly lost to a terrible Michigan team that would have won the game if they had any semblance of a QB, let alone an offense.

 

102nd(?) strength of schedule. We’ll find out soon enough I guess. Ohio state and/or Oregon.
While we’re talking about weak: Penn State. What’s their most impressive win? 3 loss illinois? 5 loss USC? Lost to the only ranked team they’ve played. I’m just not that impressed. I get it - you can only play who’s on your schedule. I just don’t see them as the 4th ranked team.

Penn State is always better than their record. However, their issue is that they routinely choke in their big games and therefore can't take that next step.

 

Same with Texas. I don’t think they’ve beaten a top 25 team have they? Their best win is…Michigan? Vandy? I guess Vandy was 25th when they played, weren’t they?

You want the #1 seed and a first round bye, then play Bama or Notre dame, or would your rather be the 5 seed and draw a home game against BYU then play Boise State?

I hate this so much. You’re better off not winning the conference championship.

 

Not playing for the conference title is particularly having a bye week if
You’re good enough to make the playoffs. Just my thought.

 

Agreed. Everyone argued this whole time that the bye would be worth it…but I’d rather get a bye the week of the championship games.

I also found it hilarious that, if it stays chalk the rest of the way, the way the bracket sets up now could have 3 of the final 4 teams be SEC teams. Everyone that bitched and moaned about having 2 teams in the 4 team playoff will riot if that happens. And I’ll sit back and laugh and say “told ya so”.
