PB is good quality and priced right. I tend to use Black WOW.

I have a black billet grille on my 2009 Toyota Tacoma, it gets very oxidized/faded/chalky/water spot looking all over the grille, especially after rain....I can put some polish on it and it will clean up and look good, then after another rain the same thing happens, is there any product I can use that will help prolong the look of the grille and help from getting the tarnished look?

Thanks! That makes it much simpler. Why would you need to quick detail after you wax?

    So, wash>Clay>Swirl Remover>Finishing Polish>Glaze>Paint Sealant>Wax>Quick Detail...

List some good brands please? Can I go wrong getting Megs everything? Also, I would like a plastic trim restorer (mirror mounts, seals, handles, antenna mount, bed tops, etc) and two different products I have used on my TRD black mattes have left bad residue. I am assuming I will need to order matte detailer online.

So washed and waxed some of it today. Worked pretty good. Used some Walmart stuff I bought: mothers wheel and tire cleaner, worked good. And an "xl drying towel" just a big microfiber towel, worked good too. Also cleaned the interior with megs natural shine and that was nice too

Which is that? Sounds like a good idea. Black is a bitch to keep looking amazing. Make sure you use microfiber

I think every brand has their own little sub-division for black vehicles. I will be getting megs black car wax. And I have never completely detailed the truck, do you mean for drying the rinse or getting the wax off?

Just only use microfiber on the paint anywhere on truck. Normal terry towels will leave swirls in your paint. Also, wash your microfiber towels when they need it with specific soap for them so they don't make swirls on your paint.

    I use the absorber usually.

Are those swirls able to be covered by the wax?

Some waxes will cover light swirl marks. These waxes have what is called fillers in them. The covering effect will last about 2 weeks.

^^^Beat me to it, I was just gonna post that. +1 to you

And I used microfiber to buff out the wax and for final buff, by hand, is that the best way?

To me yes that is the best way. Some detailers use a microfiber bonnet on a pad attached to a buffer. I like to be able to fold the microfiber towel in order to have a clean microfiber for wax removal. I usually use 4 towels per vehicle for wax removal and buffing.

I filled a small chip with touchup paint last weekend and somehow, in my haste, i wet sanded through the top coat, ever so slightly exposing the base layer ; about the size of a dime. Now what?? I feel like perhaps finding someone to airbrush some paint back on would do the trick, but thought I'd get some experts advise first.

Alright thanks, and do you wash the towels after waxing with microfiber wash? Anything else I can wash them with available in a auto store or somethin?
