If you stick with the stock shifter you can bend them, just clamp it down in a vice and put a pipe at the end and bend away, you can cut it and weld in a new section, with that option the possibilities are almost endless. The one thing that you don't want to do and have to be careful with while welding, is not to heat up the black part of the shifter too much. That piece is held on with plastic and if you melt it the shifter will come apart and its junk.

 

For the Hurst shifter The stick in the shift assembly or two separate pieces.
They are designed to go together with the shifter stick mounted on the passenger side of the shifter assembly.
I mounted it from the opposite side and put spaces in between the stick in the assembly to I mounted it from the opposite side and put spaces in between the stick in the assembly to move the transmission stick as for driver side as I could.

Has anyone tried this triple stick setup? I'm thinking about getting it and selling my current shifters (Which are still in the box untouched)

 

Dr. Smash also makes a triple stick setup too. They'll all work with some modification to the shifters and floorboards

The rock rashed drive line i had a local drive line shop build for me cost me $600. Vibrated bad untill you got up to speed so I build one with a 1350 series CV in it problem solved and I have better clearance nowAlso upgraded the slip yoke for the front shaft now its a true 1.5 ton driveline

 

I have their kit (for mini truck cases) great quality and badass service. I bent a rod being a dumbass and he sent me a few new ones for free on his dime along with a few upgrade parts since i had one of the first few that he made. Highly recomend!

 

HAs anyone found resonable instructions for putting the crawl box on the transfer case and closking it. I'm kinda confused on whats supposed to go where.

 

Line the degree pointer on the clocking ring to the desired rotation and bolt it up, it can only go one way

 

I dont have it in the picture but there is a aluminum machined round cylinder, where does it go? I'll post a picture when I get home if I need to

 

Not sure what piece you're talking about.

Goop up the clocking ring with are tee vee and bolt her up to the adapter housing



Line up holes with transmission and bolt on



Then bolt the case to the back of the crawler

The inchworm was the same as the Merlin except for the clocking ring was a different design but same concept.

 

I don't see it on yours, maybe I got extra parts. I'll post pictures tonight

I think he is talking about the seal extension on the back of the tranny

 

That seal extension housing gets pounded into the back of the trans where the seal used to go.
