B, but I think that one in your pic is off a manual and slightly longer than the auto shaft. I think they're interchangeable, but don't know for sure.

Auto left, manual right. When I built my NWF box I did a little swapping of shafts to keep the longer input going to my manual trans.

Edit - that did leave me with an extra 5vz auto input shaft I would be happy to give away to someone who needed it.

Right on. I will have to look into their compatibility. I actually have the correct tcase I can pull the input from, I just wanted to have it completely built so I could drop the case that’s in the truck now. I appreciate that offer though.

Having driveline interference with my wfo crossmember. I have a fror tcase crossmember I can install, but am I able to eliminate the transmission crossmember altogether and just run the tcase mount off the back of the rear case?

anyone have similar issues and can recommend a work around?

    o_O

Lunate? Or did you mean eliminate?

If you mean eliminate, yes I did. I cut off the factory transmission xmember. If not, it will bind with the upper link.

Any one know what this hole is for?
    20230221_182753.jpg

Working on installing my dual cases and can not figure out why this hole is here. The only thing I feel like it's gonna do is dump oil between the transmission and t-case.

I thought maybe it was a dowel pin hole but the dowel pins are on the left and right and the ID is different.

Spot on, yep oiling hole as the cavity (transmission extension housing) is now used to increase oil capacity.

Work great for MT for increasing capacity, not so much for AT. For the AT owners, if the extension seal is knick or damaged during install, you will likely damage your AT by mixing gear oil and ATF. AT don't work well with gear oil.

I haven’t had any issues with my AT but I wonder if plugging that would be a better option

Fluid is also able to pass through the adapter plat at the top input bearing. The lower passage just gives it another place to flow back to the case at a lower point. Plugging it wouldn't prevent fluid from entering that cavity.

When I was researching about crawlbox install, I read a few articles about AT owners blowing their transmission on steep climb/drop causing ATF/gear oil to mix and getting pushed back into their transmission. Typically, this occurs when the extension seal is damaged or installed incorrectly.
