You can never have too many gear options IMO. I would have the same setup i do now even if i had an auto.

I got mine from Inchworm in 2 weeks. I understand the others wait times are considerably longer.

Thanks, Homer. I'm already over three months, and I'm starting to get irritated. I think Wyatt is a good dude, and he's been helpful, but it sounds like maybe Marlin keeps giving him the 'should be done next week' treatment. Just trying to see if that's par for the course or not.

Definitely par for the course. I've heard of guys waiting 12 months or more for a Marlin box, hence why I went Inchworm like Craig did. Good luck with your wait.

Just saw Wyatt post on Instagram & fake book about a twin stick FJ case... Have not seen anything on crawl boxes tho. :(

Thanks, fellas. That's what I was afraid of. I'm not real fond of the idea paying out that much money and having nothing to show for it.

I was told 4-6 weeks initially, FWIW. And I saw that post too, Craig...

I got mine in 3.5 weeks directly from Marlin. Not sure why your having the issues. Maybe since I am auto they have more laying around.

I'm a 3.4L manual, and I think that might have something to do with it.

Got a fairly prompt reply from Wyatt this morning, and to his credit, he's going to do a couple things for me to help offset the wait.

It sounds like MC is tweaking the design on the units for the 3.4L, so that's the holdup. Hopefully, it doesn't stretch out to a year, like Nathan said

Good to know, been checking out Marlin's website for the "NEW UPDATED INFORMATION COMING SOON!" when you click on the 3.4 tacobox.

Planning on getting one here hopefully by spring and was wondering is a 1" body lift needed? or is it just easier to install the crawl box with the body lift?

Don't quote me on this, but I was told that a 1" makes it easier, or a big hammer..
Im doing my install this Wednesday :D Hoping for an uneventful install
