Do you remember the case design on the NWF box? Pretty sure there is a design flaw that lets the pin come all the way out of its hole in the new revision of the crawl box. I welded a stop to not allow it to over throw but I'm calling NWF tomorrow to see what the deal is.

I'm pretty sure it's the new revision as I didn't receive the crawl-box until the end of May.

Yup mine did the same thing. Luckily it happened on the bench before I installed it.

Pretty sure it happened to me coming down from Red Cone Pass. Paying for the tow from Breckenridge was enough to get me to sign up for AAA.

It’s slipped into neutral a few times. Haven’t fully diagnosed what causes it.

I've got no clue on a rubber boot, and I kinda don't think you're going to find anything given how much the shifter base sticks up into the cab. My truck is a bad example though, being I don't have a body lift, clocked the rear case the full amount, and cut a giant hole in the floor for it to fit. So I built a bolt in panel, which is got a sorta rubber seal on it.

Leather boot from Redline. I messed up the measurements on the tcase shifters so the boots are all too long, and I don't want to drop another $300.

With the hole through to the bottom via that rubber, do you find that hot air gets pulled into the cab on the hwy when you have the windows down?

Anyone got any tricks for pulling the t-cases off of the trans?
The RTV is holding mine on there like a bitch and there aren't exactly any jacking screw points or anything to help pry it off.

Wrap a ratchet strap around the cases to the rear axle to make some backwards pressure
