Correct. You will need a 23 spline tcase input

What truck/drivetrain is that going into, 2001 or 2005?

Don't remember seeing too many other than the final install pics with the console installed etc.
I modified the transmission tunnel just a bit by making a removalable access panel. But already had a 1.5" body lift to help clearance.
I didn't like that shared breather idea so I just ran a union fitting and relocated the breather even higher to match my transmission breather.

    Edit* @ThunderOne

You can see the outline of the rectangle shape I cut out of the floorpan. Put in some nutserts and made a removable cover that bolts in.
Also you can see how I created a new bolt in plate where it attaches to the crawlbox and how I rewelded the left and right shifter pivots in order to locate the shifters through the cupholder.

True if Marlin only makes a straight 23 spline coupler. TG makes a 23-26 spline coupler that will mate a 26 spline 3RZ case.

@Snowy does foxrcing07 case look like yours? This tcase looks like its from a 5spd that has the jshifter where the autos have the port block off bolted in aka Forward shift vs top shift.

@foxrcing07 you may need a different tcase from a 3.4 and either get a 26-23spline coupler or swap out the tcase input from your current tcase to one from a 3.4.

Definitely a forward shift case. My 3RZ/W59 came with a top shifting case. I knew T100's came with forward shift cases but I had no idea that 3RZ/A340f's did too. @foxrcing07 will have to source a top shifting case, I'm not aware of any conversion to make a forward shift chain drive case into a top shifting. I'm sure it can be done, but its just easier to get a new case. If you have a 3RZ/A340f, you have a 23 spline tcase input, so you just need to source a top shifting one from a 3.4 auto or manual and you'll be good to go.

The best I can tell for tcase compatibility over the years

    3RZ/A340F - 23 spline input, forward shift
    3RZ/W59 - 26 spline input, top shift
    5VZ/A340F - 23 spline input, top shift
    5VZ/R150F - 23 spline input, top shift

Thanks! thats what I was thinking. Didn't think they came on 3rz's w/A340s.
@foxrcing07 you need to get a different tcase from a wrecker, make sure you grab a tcase from a 3.4 auto/manual and make sure its a j shift and not a push button shifter. Easy way to tell is by the actuator mounted on the back of the tcase housing between the rear output and the fill hole.

Well that sucks, but it was kinda what I expected to hear
It really sucks because it's going to push my shift location way back

I think I'm going to pull the twin stick from my brother truck and compare them side by side and see it I can see any other differences, if they appear the same I might try to move the shift forks back the the rear location and if that works I'll trim the rails down (nothing to lose with that case)
Either way I'll post back updates later in the week

Does kinda suck, but you should be able to pick one up for fairly cheap now a days especially since 4runners use the same tcase.

What’s the going rate for drive shaft modification? Going to start shopping around for a a quality shop, but I’d like to not get raped on price if possible.

    Seems legit. Haha.

I talked to him the other day. Told me to bring them by and we’d discuss it.
