I don’t see how you’d come out ahead buying the used one. All you’re gaining is a twin stick, right? you will have to talk him down 800 just to match the price of the new box.

    maybe I’m missing something. :notsure:

that's what i'm saying. I'm hoping to talk him down quite a bit for it to be worth it buying used.

Otherwise i'd just get the new one on TG.

    That's true.
But I feel like most of those who would be interested in buying it would be in my same situation since it's setup for the w59. And you can usually get a stock t-case for under $100 at a yard.

Assuming @betterbuckleup already has a case, how is this helpful?

    Unless he’s converting from 2wd?

    Exactly.

Most who could use it really would only be in it for the crawl box. Unless they were coming from 2wd which seems like a longshot.

I’d rather have the new box for $2200 unless you can lowball him by like 50% haha.

X2. It would be a much better deal at like $1500-2K, but you're still left with trying to sell a tcase you don't need.

if its a true lefty, you get some clocking with the craigslist post which will get you a flat belly if thats what you are going for. either way for a used set, yeah, kinda pricey

true. at least that's some cost that I could hopefully get back at some point, even if it's not that much.

He said he's trynna upgrade to a 4 gear atlas for moab so I get where he's coming from on trying to get as much as he can for it

Turns out the T-case is gear drive which is why he's asking so much. Should have paid more attention in the description.

I'm guessing those are more robust and sought after than our chain drive ones?
