My red powder coating is peeling off after 7 years anyway. Good choice, seems marlin can’t keep shit in stock to save their lives

I’m case y’all were wondering how helpful a crawler is for snow wheeling. Depending on conditions, being in a really slow gear will help you out a lot. Instead of trying to spin the snow out from under your tires and dig down, it will pack under your tires and give you traction where for most people, there isn’t any.

    Example-
    https://youtu.be/Ni_l_sfcFvg

4 psi in the tires, in my lowest gear. Giving it a tiny bit of throttle to raise it just above idle. The grooving in my tires is really helping a lot here too. You can watch it struggle for traction a little bit but keep chugging up. I winched up this 2 weeks ago. Today I drove up.

Got started on the Atlas install this weekend, cut a big ass hole in the driver floorboard and was able to get the case completely flat and 2" above the frame rails. Need to pull some more out for driveshaft and shift rail clearance, then pull the extension housing to get the bearing out.

Making progress on the Atlas, have the interior mostly skinned, think I have the corssmember design finalized, just waiting on a few tabs.

Yep, nothing major, just slow progress with the fabbing portion. I have everything but the shifters installed and mocked up, adapter, spud shaft and clocking are good to go. 4 speed shifter should be here today so I will start in on the shifter setup this week and continuing the crossmember design and build. Should have a pretty slick skid setup all said and done, and hopefully quite a bit lighter than the previous setup.

RST has been mounting the 4 speed shifter in the pass cup holder, I am going to see if I can squeeze it aft of the twin stick.

Looks like the correct 22m/23f spline adapter required for the 6spd to me. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

That adapter looks correct. Appears to be an old inchworm adapter based on the photos I have seen from Wyatt. I'm curious about the total length as compared to mine and a side view photo whenever you have a chance. Mine looks to be thicker on the bottom. Also, curious how tight the fit is on the crawlbox input and the transmission when you get to that step. You have the oil seal extension housing as well? Just to confirm it's the right one for you.

    Bottom of mine:

The one on the left is the extension housing for the manual.

I'll get some more pics when I get home of the adapter and the extension. Need any measurements?

lol I counted the splines at least 5 times. I went straight for that adapter when the box came in.

    Can confirm.

Appreciate it. I am fine on the measurements for the extension housing. Took those off of mine before I installed which I believe is an original inchworm housing as well.
