That rear adapter is definitely an inchworm, their 2 piece clockable setup.

Man I know that Inchworm plate is sweet for the clockablity but it seems like every one of them leaks. I remember back when NorcalPR or Hytenor on TTORA spent way too much time trying to chase down and understand what to block off and how to put the thing together without it leaking. Seems like it would have been much easier to just have a straight up option or a 10-15* option.

Yep, it is a 2 piece. Just checked on it after a night and it did the same thing where it leaked just a bit then stopped. Wyatt told me it didnt leak while parked flat, so I'll take it for another run and park flat on the street later and see what happens. Best case scenario, it leaks a little bit a few times and stops, but I dont think it's likely. It's just weird how it stops after a while. I'll have to keep an eye on it. Here's the best pic of the unit I could get and the oil stain on cardboard. For reference, it's an unfolded soda box with the handle popped in the middle.

"Didn't leak when parked flat", because all roads we take our trucks on are flat . I'd be taking it back to that fellow to get re-sealed.

That's likely going to happen. I scheduled a paintjob for my roof monday, so I wont be able to take it for about a week. I've got until then to run it around and try a few things.

I would, if I paid hard earned $$ for something that is half @ss built and piece together.

BTW @Jojee117 how much did you pay for the box and labor?

Just park the truck on level ground, problem solved. What's so hard about that? Didn't we built our truck to be on flat ground anyway with crawlbox? I DID! :D

The box was Marlins price on their site and labor was $750 IIRC. It was part of a 4wd conversion with twin sticks, but everything else seems to be flawless. Like I said, he warranties his work, so he'll take care of it. It's just a matter of taking it down there. That'll have to wait till next week though.

Hi Trail Gear I have a major problem with my TG product and it doesn’t functional as it should. I’ve paid for an item I can’t use. Could I warranty this?

    “no that’s normal”

So is dropping the case. If you haven't done it before, I'd say it's a weekend project if all goes well. Plus your cost for gear oil and new sealant and a change of clothes after they're covered in grease. It's more the principle of it, if I paid money for someone to install my shit and it leaked, even if it cost me more in gas and time to drive there I'd still do it. It would also allow the installer to think twice when they are doing their work and to double check shit before releasing to the customer.

A buddy took his TG ram in after a few months of buying it for leak issue. TG rep Lincoln told him that TG will test the ram out and let him know. A few days later, TG called and said there's no issue with the ram and told him "LEAK IS NORMAL" and refused to do anything about it. He reinstalled the ram, drove the truck there to show TG that the issue is NOT normal when you're idling in the parking turning the steering wheel and it's dripping profusely. TG refused go out to their parking to look at the issue, told him to remove and they'll test it again?

I’ve had tg complete duals with inchworm prerunner adapter (no longer made). Never had issues with leaks onto the ground using rtv or the black stuff. Now leaking between the transmission and transfer case into each other... another story. Just put a thick layer of sealant on both ends and don’t fill it for a day.

Theres no question I wont be the one fixing it, but atleast I can be there watching how it's done for future reference. Because of the whole quarantine thing it's not a huge deal, but if I had to take time off of work I'd be pissed. He did trailer it up though, so kudos for that. I just took it for a little spin and parked it again, so we'll see what happens.
