I saw a recent post of yours with a pic of a console with several levers and thought you might be running triple reduction boxes.
    Are you?
Anyone else here with that setup besides Marlin?

I feel like marlin did that just to demonstrate the possibility and for bragging rights, but I honestly dont see the practical application of that much gear reduction.

I like being different and unique at the same time. Plus, going slow slow and steady so I can finish eating a hotdog during an obstacle challenge.

Just want to confirm these are jacking screws for removing the plate.
TG instructions don't really tell you much other than the basics.

Also, I just tightened everything until it was gud'n tight since there aren't torque specs for this shit as far as I've seen.

there are no specs on the adapters, use standard bolt size torque specs. One gud’n tight is probably sufficient.

I've another question for the experts—the previous owner of my truck said that Marlin told him he should not use the crawlbox too frequently in reverse. This doesn't make sense to me, but maybe I'm missing something? Anyone care to weigh in?

I was on the phone today with Trail Gear and asked them about this and they told me they use a sliding hammer to remove them.
They put it on the outer edge.
They didn't think it was setup to use the holes for jacking screws.

90% of user rather not spend the extra $$ for the HD rf1a housing. Most will just grind it down to fit the larger 4.7

Yea, it is high. You can buy a complete rf1a with internals (you'll need the internal for the 4.7 swap) for 150-200 depending on who's selling it.

If you plan on adding a crawl box, I recommend building it yourself so you:
    1) know how it function and piece together
    2) cheaper
    3) can run stronger and better gear

Lots of differences between the 1st & 2nd gen crawlbox setups...

Before my seemingly crazy question about reverse and the tacobox gets lost, @HomerTaco, what did the sideways looking face (?) mean? I ask, because I had intended to wheel backwards from now on in case I need to turn around.

Seems odd. Never heard of any issues with gear reduction in reverse, hence the questioning emoji face.
