Yep, I recognize that trait as well. Are we related?
In all honesty though, with this thread having more than 500 posts, I can see why you didn't bother to read most of them. :boink:

Thats a big gap, lol. You plan on building an extension down to the axle?

Probably never hurt it anyway. Drove mine a year before building one. I added 2 leafs a year later and it became really apparent, lol

Wow, five years later and this thread is still going.

FYI, the bags are still going strong and I've not had any issues to date (knock on wood).

Ordered the Total Chaos u-bolt relocation kit from wheeler's and also ordered their ubolts for a flip kit. I'll install it sometime next week and put the ride rites in with them. Hopefully this will solve any issues besides having to trim down the ubolts.

Edit - Anyone remember what torque the u-bolts should be set to? I know after the initial drive you have to retorque them - I just can't remember the number

I recently acquired a leer cap. I love the look and extra functionality on my truck but I’m getting a little sag in the back. I’ve been considering air bags to correct the sag. I have a 2010 doublecab long bed with a 3 inch lift. Will air bags work for me?

Pic is the lift I have.

OME 881 springs with 3/8 spacer. SCS SR8 16x8 Gunmetal 285/75/16 Yokohama G003 Nitros all 4 corners. Dakar rear leafs. Deckplate mod. Marlin Crawler 1200lb clutch. Redline hood struts. ECGS clam shell bearing. Philips LED headlights. Front Runner bed bars. Katskinz leather interior.
Are you on stock rear leafs and a AAL? If you have high mileage on factory leafs you could probably get away with a set of dakars if your not hauling alot of weight.

Does anyone know the length of air bags when they are fully inflated?
