Oddly enough, I actually was playing around with the traction control in good weather and found the truck somewhat more linear in power delivery with the TRAC off. I had read on a thread here that someone had tried it and found that to be the case, so I gave it a whirl.

I just dislike the Christmas tree on the dash when I switch it off.

What would one expect to pay for some used armor. What questions should I ask

The skids are MOBTOWN IFS, transmission, and transfer case( exhaust reroute) and sliders.
LCA skids
Rear diff skids
Pelfreybilt gas tank skid

 

I glanced through that thread yesterday. Seems real weird to me.. Also Id be a bit hesitant to buy armor that has been burnt up like that, just cause extreme heat causes metals to warp and stress in weird ways. Maybe not such a big deal for sliders, but Id look the skids plates over real careful

If you have not done so yet I would put up a post in the "What have you done to your 2nd gen today?" asking if anyone has some they aren't using and also start a new thread asking if someone has a set. You might get lucky finding someone who has deleted their rear seat.

 

As of right now I guess they are yours as the person days ago said claimed depending on color. Informed them they were grey and I have never heard back
