17s will look better on the Tacoma and with more tire sidewall should provide a comfier ride.

    Yes, they're lifted.

I think when I get back into a Tacoma, it will be with the -10 spec. This looks too good not to do.

Not on a 4th gen unless you PPF, guys rear panels are destroyed with stock setup let alone that poke. Does look good.

    I agree!
Nice wheels but they’re isolating their traffic due to excessive poke for most on a $50k+ mini truck…

PPF? How is it any different than the -38 wheels on a 2nd and 3rd gen? If I didn’t do this offset then 0 is the least I’d go to mimic what the -10 looked like on the previous gen’s. Doing this id lift it 3” regardless…….probably should have led off my previous post above with that.

Paint protection film. The fenders are more aggressive on the 4th gen, they stick out further making them more susceptible to chips compared to prior gens even with aggressive offset.

I run -10 and no flaps on my 3rd gens, and not even close to the damage these guys are seeing reporting, I did proactively add some PPF cause the factory stuff yellows and not enough coverage.

Mark Brenner beat the living hell out of that truck...
Attempting to fly up hills without airing down, attempting to use speed & momentum to compensate for lack of traction...

That was a poor example, but look at the thread, the FB groups there are similar complaints with stock setup.

I’m a big fan of Vin and SCS. I’ve had my stealth 6s on my 2nd gen for 11.5 years and I still love them!
