So took my "new to me" truck to rick McGill's today to have them check out this awful smell coming from my window seals. Smells kinda like mold.....well....they said it was nothing.... sprayed some sort of fragrance inside of the seal and sent me on my way....get ready for my rant....for one they didn't fix the problem, just created more, for one the window streaks even after I clean it, for two the service guy tried to tell me he couldn't smell anything (yes I asked about 5 different people before I took it up there and they all smelled it) and three there is now a giant grease stain on the cloth part of my arm rest. Oh and not to mention I had an appointment for 10am then apparently when I got there I was told I didn't have an appointment and to make myself comfortable....../rant
Sorry had to get that out, can't stand poor service

Aight zach, so heres my take on the sway bar thing. I dont think its worth it. Reason I say that is u have stock suspension. Think of when u take a corner on road and ur truck leans, then disconnect tha only thing that some what holds ur front end stable and take that same turn. Its not like u have stiff aftermarket coilovers to counter act the weight transfer when turning. U just have stock, soft, mushy coilovers that wont handle that weight transfer very well. Soooooooooooo for the lack of wheel travel that u gain and the fact ur truck will handle like a box truck, I don't think its worth it

yeah kinda agree. i don’t want too flip or anything. i was just thinking today, i may take it off for a few days and see how i like it, and how bad it is on the road. if i did not like it i would put it back on. hell i could just go 2 or so miles and prob have my mind made up.

Do it!!! I don't know anyone with stock suspension that has actually taken it off! U know what would actually be kinda cool . . . . Because u have stock sus, go take some flexing pics with it on then take it off and take some more pics! I never seen anyone do that before. Could be informative, especially if u give us some info on road stability

yeah i think i going soon. i thought i read a thread wear someone did, and said body roll was not bad even on road. but and less body roll off road. since the wheel can go farther up on it’s own.

it's not that hard to do "camo-dipping" yourself. you could get the stuff and do it your self and have leftovers for lots of other things...phone cases, guns, interior parts, etc.

you can buy kits online for less than $100.00. I have no idea where to buy it locally. maybe bass pro shops? i'm not sure since i've only been here a few months myself. but the kits are enough to do a few rifles. so you would have plenty left after your emblems. even do it for someone else and get your money back.

google d-i-y camo dipping. you'll see its easy.....no painting
