For me it's greatly improved the issue, but has not resolved completely. I can still feel (and hear) it ever so slightly, however not near as bad as it was before. That being said, I bet if I handed the truck to a new owner who new nothing of the issues they would never notice it.

Thinking about ordering this stupid steering damper and installing myself just to see if it helps the 15-30mph brakeing vibration and the 60-65mph cyclical vibration. Why they don't just include this part and the LCA arm plugs from the factory makes me SMH. Honestly, many of these problems seem to be amplified by a poorly damped steering wheel and shaft.

Don't bother, they installed in mine and that part made absolutly 0 difference. I think the masking is all in new leaf packs.

Pretty unlikely they'll sell you a part from TSB kit.

That part number can be ordered at any of several sources from what I saw a few moths back. It's been a duct tape fix for several toyota vehicles for severas years it seems. Maybe they should get the hint and fix the issues rather than paying dealerships to add them later...all while losing customer loyalty

    Hi, newbie here,

So my understanding is that the existing 3rd gen TSBs out right now are only for 2016 models? Do the 2017 models already have them applied? Or do 2017 owners need to wait for 2017 specific TSBs?

    I'm so tempted.

The T4Rs I've driven have steering wheel wobbles at speed(probably a tire balance or alignment issue) and similar brake pedal buzzing as my TRDOR.

    I'm losing faith in Toyota.

Anybody dare to add some blocks after this TSB was applied? If so, did you run the carrier bearing drop?

I'm so happy with the truck now that the vibration is nearly gone but tired of dragging rear bumper when wheeling. . .

for those of you with 2017s that have had the repair denied for whatever reason, have you had any luck fixing it yourself; and if so what did you do? TIA, Mark S.

that's exactly what it is. I mounted a go pro underneath my truck and could see the pinion dive down under braking. As my truck was lifted with 1 inch flat blocks thats when my rumble strip vibrations started. I have since upgraded to a 1 inch tapered block from low range off road and my vibes are almost none existent. Greasing the u joint also help and my drums were slightly warped and were turned. All in All 95% improvement in driveline vibration as of now.

I had the chirping. Its the high pressure fuel pump. I had Toyota replace that under warranty - no more chirping

I sure wish this would get extended to 17s. My "shudder" for now is only slight upon braking, but I'm getting tons of driveline vibration in the rear at pretty much any speed (but far more noticeable at lower speeds) under either acceleration or deceleration. Of course the dealership drove it and said "it's normal" and to "go load it down and drive it around and maybe it will loosen up for you...." Fact: The truck didn't have this sort of floorboard, steering wheel, and rear end vibration until the last few hundred miles and it's progressively getting worse. When I drive in 4Hi, it goes away and drives like it used to in 2wd. With only 8k miles on it this is frustrating and makes the truck a crappy drive all around.

That sounds like the front drivers side bushing issue. Are you lifted? If so search for ECGS bushings.

No lift - all stock '17 OR DCSB. Without a lift could this still be a potential issue?

Yes. Read through that thread and see if the symptoms people describe match yours.

    Has anyone with the
Yep, looks like similar symptoms... I took it to the dealer yesterday b/c Im leaving shortly for a 4 day trip through mountains, driving at least 1,000mi. I hope I don't significantly harm anything since "dealer could not replicate" when it was clearly present and I took to them yesterday...

Well, if it does then the dealer gets to fix that too.
