My 2019 Tacoma SR5 has had the vibration/rumble when slowing as it down shifts in lower gears since new, currently has 2,900 miles on it.
Dealership test drove and symptoms matched the T-SB-0071-19 so they did the steering damper replacement and didn't make any difference.
The rear leaf springs per TSB are on order and will be replaced in the next week or two.
I will post up the results once the leaf springs have been replaced.

Thx, all. As previously stated, they replaced my drums with brand new ones already, told me it was a bad batch of parts but after that I still had the rumble.
    So far, all same dealership:
    1st time: Adjusted rear brakes
    2nd time: Changed rear drums
3rd time: Pulled apart, all in spec, nothing they can do
4th time: (at dealer now) Rear axles are bad and on order

    - Just curious how none of this was caught earlier.. Doesn't leave much faith in the service department..

I may have missed this , but do you have a case with Toyota corporate or are you just working with the dealer?

Was your truck consistently warping the drums?

Hard to say, my wife drove it the 1st 3k, I have driven the next 3k and couldn't stand it. I brought it in the 1st week I began driving it at about 3k miles.
They have only replaced the drums once. The biggest help was when they did the axles last week..

An update in my 2019 Tacoma SR5.
The dealership replaced the steering damper and rear leaf springs per T-SB-0071-19.
This took care of probably 95% of the drive line vibration I was feeling.
Still feel a slight rumble strip vibration when downshifting to the low gears but nothing like it was.
Will be anxious to hear if this TSB helps others with the drive line vibration.

Update. My rear axle was replaced last week on my 19' OR. It did nothing to fix the issue. In fact it seems worse now. Waiting to hear back from my case manager at Corporate to see what they are going to do next. Very frustrating.

I think this in particular is what's characteristic/normal for these trucks. Slight/faint rumbling under 25 mph, braking or not (although braking makes it stand out more).

People complaining about wheel/pedal shaking have something else going on.

Anyone have a link or picture of the the new T-SB-0071-19? I had the one done prior to this which replaced rear axle and it definitely helped but still a little vibration.

My axle was replaced 2x and brake drums continued to warp. Just heads up, keep an eye on it.

I hope so. I've had the truck for a year now/just under 8k miles and the faint rumbling/pulsing never seemed to get any worse. Maybe it's a mental thing, but I rarely notice it. The brakes feel very solid and I've never experienced any kind of wheel/pedal/body shaking.

3K-4K on average. That was consistent between the 2017 and 2018 I had.

+1. No luck finding the tsb on the internet. Local dealership just said I need it (T-SB-0071-19) but I’m skeptical because from what I’ve seen it doesn’t seem to address what I described which is the typical trans issues from a 2017 OR.
